Just curious, the stroker crank just swap right without having to modify anything else? On this build, yes. I thought I would have to stack gaskets to make clearance, but I didn't. I failed to to a clay squish test, but everything went well on the break in. That's good, i was hearing that you were supposed to stack the gaskets but I guess it's not the case.

First start!! Sounds so mean (open header). Snappy as all get out! Too late to go break it in, and I gotta dial in that 26mm OKO as well. I haven't done a compression check either, I gotta call it for the night. How is it going? Are you noticing a difference?

Big difference. The carb is being finnicky, been tuning it in... but I put all 2k springs in the clutch, and a 7/9g slider mix. Pulls so hard off the line, 50 no tuck easy now. Motor does feel quite a bit hotter so I gotta get the oil cooler hooked up soon.

so I gotta get the oil cooler hooked up soon. Oil cooler? What is that all about? Which one do you use? How do you install it?

There isn't liquid cooled options for our motors (I wish...) So the next best thing is oil cooled. Your pump cycles oil throughout the motor, so if your oil can be cooled down then in turn your motor should run better with cooler oil. You basically replace your oil drain plug/filter with a fitting that cycles oil thru a radiator.

Nice. Oh it is pricey.

But it's worth it. I'm wide open most of the time.

Anyone have thoughts on adding a better oil filter and a thermostat bypass with the oil filter?

My build up date. Use one base gasket is not recommended with the piston I'm running with the stroker crankshaft. The compression is at 225psi not really the problem. I can still hear the piston taping the valve because of the way the airsal piston is designed I think. So recommended maybe 2 or 3 base gaskets. I ordered some early this week and got them in yesterday and a new airsal piston.

I built my stroker with 1 base and 1 head gasket and got 205psi compression and good valve clearance. Thanks for the info on that setup, I was using SSP-G 52mm cylinder, Hoca piston snd Hoca BVH.

What is your jetting like on your set up I first had a 26mm OKO carb on that downjetted from 112 to 105 and I still couldn't dial it in. I popped a stock GY6 24mm carb on, with a 108 jet on the middle notch. So far it's RIPPING. I'm gonna play with the jets here and there... See what's best.

I thought you would have been higher then that. I'm at a 124 main and a 38 idle on a 150 24mm carb

I could try a 120 and just see what happens haha.
