If I want good sausage I have to make it myself in northern Virginia. We make our own andouille, Texas red hot, chaurice, and breakfast sausage. Also bacon and Tasso. For fun my wife and I cook competition BBQ and chili. So something is always cooking. Glad to share recipes. |

I totally agree... Hot chili or stew goes great with a single digit day. Plus it feeds for days.
I tried smoking chicken thighs yesterday but 40 mph winds were not helping. I couldn’t keep the temp up so I had to retreat to the oven. They still came out great, no pics I was hungry.
