I love pizza but never tried making it at home. Going through school i was assistant manager at Little Caesars. Ran all kinds of experiments, in retrospect, it was pretty awesome As I worked at a Little Caesars back then too, but it was not an LC anymore; Spicy Bob's had taken over. It was awesomely the same, only difference was the sauce mix. I made the dough by hand every morning, 5 days a week. I loved that job, we experimented with SO MUCH... All we did at Pizza Hut with the dough was empty the bag into the giant mixer (remember to keep your hands outta there!) add some warm water and turn the thing on. Then we'd split it out by weight into the pans (for the pan thick crust stuff). Then into the walk in. But we'd trade food with the guys over at Del Taco (those guys got busted for doing that) and we had a super market in the same parking lot. So between the tacos and the stuff we could buy in the store it all ended up on a pizza at some point. And if you wanted a pizza you'd screw one up, like make a medium instead of a large. Oops that one has to be remade, but no one would really look at what was on it, so you'd make what you wanted. So we'd write that one off and the boss was cool. That pizza was dinner. We could actually make Pizza that was way better than anything Pizza Hut had on the menu.

Just don't confuse the WD-40 with the cooking oil...

So I popped some pork loin in the slow cooker on my lunch break and let it go for 6 hours, and forgot about it. Got home and smelled something so yummy... Grabbed the tater tots and tossed them in the oven to brown em up, then topped with pork, drizzled Sweet Baby Rays and covered in cheddar cheese. When I plated mine I tried some coleslaw on it: AMAZING. Such a quick, cheap and easy meal. I shared all this with a friend and still have SO MUCH PORK left over...

Why is it that when my wife cooks she grabs something from the freezer, opens the box and calls it dinner. I stop by the produce isle, grab some meat, add some seasonings spend some time with oven and pans then it’s dinner. 🤷♂️ She’s still a keeper... sometimes.

As usual, I skipped pics because I just wanted to eat. I made fried rice and a stir fry with chicken, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and plenty of soy sauce and black pepper. Nothing fancy to look at, but everyone got seconds.
