Made a Detroit style pizza last night. Dough took 48 hours and I ordered the brick cheese from Wisconsin. The Redtop, cause the sauce is on top.

Taco Tuesday! Americano style for my neighbor, his request. Easy, inexpensive and full of awesomeness!

Just made up a meatloaf with taco seasoning for the spices and stuck it in the fridge to cook later. Will be accompanied by mashed potatoes, gravy, and baked cauliflower. I love meatloaf so I'm ready to skip straight to dinner.

Does this count as home cooking? I think I’ve stepped up my outback (of the van) cooking...

Went to the regional market to stock up on fresh stuff. There's a really good pasta vendor that has great variety. Picked up some Basil Garlic Fettuccine, and did my typical impromptu sauce thing. No particular mix, but I do have some favorite incredients.... of course, LOTS of garlic! No potatoes in this cook, just happened to be something I bought and got caught in the pic. If there is ever any beef, I always use organic. I've seen too many disgusting videos of what they do to these animals otherwise. Joey's has been my go-to pasta sauce for about a year now. Voila, pretty easy. After draining the pasta, I cold-rinsed it this time to test if that indeed is the procedure to remove the sticky starch. Don't remember if I read that on this thread or somewhere else, but it seems to work really well.

Ready for some more health food? Ribs, mac & cheese, broccoli and cornbread. I bought bacon salt a few months ago to try it after hearing that it was pretty much the greatest thing in the world. Can't say I'd agree on that, but I put some in the crockpot mac and did like the bit of flavor that it added in this case.

I was looking for the deep fried bacon but all I could find was salmon...
