Nice find. A little water on the track sure doesn't slow them down much.

That was awesome. Me and a group of guys I met recently race around a oval marked by cones in a church parking lot. I'm not a straight line guy (no offense fellow scooterist). I wish I could take turns like those guys though.

I know right...I saw them taking the turns in lean and thought, "damn, i wont do that :help: !" I love the twisty,s but the thought of the water and sliding would prevent me from pitching in that hard. They can ride! No offense taken at all tweak . I love the turns as well :checkered: ! No matter tho, still not enough seat time in drag racing . The faster you go, the less you get to race

That's why street builds, be it for scoots or cars or whatever, have always been king for me. In one day I spent 8.5hrs on the Venus. Assuming a run was 12.5 seconds, it would take 2,448 passes to get the same seat time. How many lifetimes would it take get those in? How many road races would that be? You really can't compare it if you just like seat time.
The cool thing about twisties is that you can enjoy 'em on nearly any scoot and on the street. Straight line acceleration really isn't that fun on just any old scoot though, so that takes some work. Of course you can make a lot more curves exciting when you have the ability to go faster. :dunno: All scoots street or track need to be tuned IMO. ;D

I HAVE to be at a tack to run at my full. Ide love to hit the streets and peel turns off like some of you can but im being watched closely everywere i go. Same goes with modded scoots. If i ride a street scooter that can so much as fart fast and my butt is going back to jail..
I guess im stuck with 2,448 passes to get caught up a little lol

Oh I know. Unfortunately for you, your situation is a bit different than the average rider though.
2,448 passes on Skeedr... you're gonna need a warehouse for all of the trophies.

Their really cracking down on scooters around here. Floyd county that is. I find myself just cruising around 30 around areas I know cops are bad. Really the reason why I haven't made the zuma a go fast scoot. Only mods I've done to it is an Athena Vari and 5g Dr. Pullys. CVT stuff. Our parking lot racing is kind of off the main roads. So cops are never around. Most of us are running pretty close to stock scoots. 40 is about the top speed for everyone but were all fast off the turns. :riding: The guy that owns the church is pretty cool though. He comes out and watches us sometimes. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't pick up a little 2 stroke soon and join us.

Damn. I had to rewind to figure out why he was coming from that way. Some hard racing going one there. Reminds me of watching the motorcycle racing. I can see how you practice and get good at running hard, but the way they rub and bump into each other at times is just crazy.

Crazy. They don't look at the chicken strips on their tires, they check for chicken strips on their frames. lol Damn, there's a spot I haven't scraped yet!
