Three months ago I was cutting back on scooters and motorbikes I was down to 1 Huoniao 125 cruiser one 80cc bbk scooter which I gave to son and one I was getting ready for a off road race. Tonight I have taken stock what's, what now winters coming. I have one xt 125 engine to rebuild for a mate on the bench another scooter Boatian 50cc I am going to convert to 72cc once I get time. I have the endurance 50cc sorted other than tyres and stripping the panels. I have one Vespa LX engine 125cc and wiring loom on the floor I was going to put into a vespa frame which I have not got as was side tracked. I have a suzki gn 125 which is getting a 150 barrel and piston a new valve and valve guide and a TGB scooter 204 Classic125cc sat in the van which I have not mentioned to my other half yet. I wonder how long before I start whinging about the cold and lack of light now winters approaching Hmmm how did this all happen. Life is so much easier when you do simples

I thought I was kinda bad owning 5 scooters (6 before the 150 sold) at once. I got talking to the contractor that's doing work to the bathroom and he said he has 7 ATVs in his garage right now, 6 of which are his. He doesn't have engines and various parts all over the place, but at least I felt slightly more sane since he has more than twice the wheels on his garage floor. He looked at T2 (my naked Triton) and asked about it. I told him it's the same thing as T1 (Triton with panels roughly intact), but stripped down and modified. Since then, he's mentioned twice that it looks like it would be fun and that he should get me to make T1 like that for him. Guess he's really trying to tip the scales his way. -1 for me and +1 for him. Not sure I wanna do anything with T1 though. I've figured it's my backup if anything happens to T2. Depends how much money he's interested in spending on the scoot/conversion I suppose.

Maybe I am not so bad after all Brent. If you did do the T1 for him you still have 4 left to use Thomas TPFL you even have a uni cycle in amongst that lot

I have to many, its embarrassing. I'm trying to sell a 150 I never ride and I do have 4 of them running. But I do need to cull the heard so to speak so I have room in the garage to move them.

I think Brent may be finding space for a new 300cc Yamaha scoot Greg

Well this morning on my day off its raining and I am off to get a blow lamp to warm up the Suzuki cylinder head to whack out the old valve guide. See it's not even the depth of winter yet and I'm already whingeing 😊

Well it has taken quite a few year to get the approval for one motorcycle, and one scooter. I really don't think she who must be obeyed would be happy with more. I have a cunning plan though. When my grandson is old enough, he could inherit the Slider, and I will get a 250 😀

That is indeed a cunning plan but I can't use that excuse as I already have for my granddaughter 😊 I have now taken the van off the road and it lives over the way. So I will wait for the right time to tell her there is a scooter in the back 😊

Slowly solving the above issues. Baotian scooter is going once new carb arrive. Mates Yamaha engine is off to someone else to rebuild. The scooter for the off road race will have all the 72cc bbk stuff going on it which is not till March next yr so that can go undercover and wait. Suzuki when bits arrive and together will be sold. That leaves one Chinese motorbike 125 which will have a 150bbk fitted. The tgb 125 don't exist yet as not told the wife till time is right 😊

Baotian 50cc scooter up and finished with a years mot now for sale on ebay. Yamaha XT engine now rebuilt and at mates ready to put in bike. Suzuki head not done yet as got another head from chinese Sinnis Apache which is meant to be the same but the new 125 barrel and piston set I got allows the piston to hit the head so its either the heads combustion chamber slightly different or the piston. So need to check that. The Huoniao 125 custom is off to someone up road to have the exhaust studs changed as I am bound to break them and I am keeping this one. Think the Vespa LX 125 engine and loom will be off to ebay soon. Still not found the appropiate time to tell the wife of the scooter in the back of the van yet

I currently have 5 scoots running at one time and another 9 not running, most of which have uncertain futures. I really want to thin out my horde of scooters, especially since my states scooter laws are changing requiring registration, plates and insurance by this time next year. Come spring or sooner 4 of the running scoots are for sale. The Zuma, Vino, Panda (4T), and the Malaguti. My plan is to dump everything but my 2 Vento Tritons, and my 2 Kymco ZX one of which I call naked Kymco. The non runners on the chopping block are: 94 elite basket case, spree frame no motor, zip clone, derbi atlantis, vino basket case, Baccio VX 50, and a 74ish piggy/vespa 150.
