Doc has booked me in for blood test and stool sample didn't check me over though. Will see after a couple of weeks when samples come back after Tuesday what's wrong. Properly better by then 😊 Sat in the cafe after breakfast awaiting for mot at midday. They managed to squeeze me in. Its 60 today, wet and windy FrankenMech. Oh well pop round me mum's see how she is for a while.

Just gotta fiddle with exhaust in morning and road test. TGB shed now on facebook, all put away for the night now

Too many fish heads probably... You really have to avoid the ones sitting on the dock for three days. I hope the doc figures it out and it's nothing serious. It was 86°F here today, 70°F right now at 2AM, 65 near dawn. There isn't any ocean to moderate our temp swings in Kansas. I live in Illinois and grew up in Michigan. Frankenmech has weather swings that can be even a bit more extreme than ours. Yet it's pretty similar. (I also hate the Sun, heat and humidity, by the way). But this conversation has reminded me of something I've pondered many times over the years.
Picture the major continents. The two Americas, Eur-Asia and Africa. Plus all the rest, for that matter.
Imagine them broken up into islands. Let's say just about the size of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana together. Or about the size of the British Isles. Now picture them separated from one another by a distance of, roughly, their own diameters.
That ocean would moderate the weather for everyone.
The world we have is really pretty beautiful. But that doesn't mean it couldn't be improved upon. It's such a shame we were cursed with these huge landmasses.

I love it when the summers are 90F, overnight thunderstorms 3 out of 7 nights a week. Fall is so amazing here in MN, winter even when its 30 to 40 below (wife and i took a 2 hour drive through the boundary waters middle of january few years ago - breathtaking) and spring when everything turns into a mucky swamp, but then grows back so lush... you couldn't get much of that in regulated oceanic landmasses. Besides, i hate hurricanes and am allergic to seafood

BEFORE AND AFTER!! Well it's taken from September till now but think I am cured now ( we hope). I now have an empty garage and the only things going back in are the Vespa Clone 2T, Huoniao 150 and the wife's birthday present a Vespa LX50 4t when collected. It's been a challange but good BEFORE ( it did have more in before this pic was taken ) AFTER

Throw some boards across those concrete blocks and make yourself some shelves and a workbench.

Throw some boards across those concrete blocks and make yourself some shelves and a workbench. What a damn sensible idea Frankenmech. Wish I could have said I had already thought of it. I shall put that into action soon as find some planking, mind you in the back of my mind somewhere I am sure the wife wants to use them to do something or other with 😊
