I’m getting 42mph at half throttle after marking my throttle lever...From 1/2-full throttle there is no increase in speed. Is this normal?

could be the needle is set too rich, that's midrange power, then too small of a jet, when the needle is all the way up,as the main jet is full throttle power, what does your plug look like?

It's the Zuma. Needle is second from top. Plug looks decent-light tan color after shutting down at wot and coming to a stop... 90 main on stock motor without snorkle. Sea level and 70 degrees on a phbg s6 19mm carb

I agree, try a smaller main jet, I went smaller from stock size on my metropolitan and picked up a little speed. 90 seems pretty big. I also wonder if your issue is related to removing the snorkel, Is the air filter now attached directly to the intake of the carburetor ?

I put all of my info in my sig but I guess everyone can not see it sorry! 2009, 2t, 500 miles, stock airbox, snorkel removed and stock exhaust. I just picked up a new tecnigas pro exhaust from pinkscoot and it’s NICE. I “shouldn’t” have to re jet right? Off next week and gonna do some tuning! I’m excited!

You added a tuned pipe, so yeah, you need a larger main. At the very least you'll need to raise the needle.

What would be next in tuning? Carb jetting or roller weights?
