  Low miles, plastics in excellent shape, and the price was right @$ 300 Iv been chasing this one down since this spring. I did the de-restriction on it a year or so for a friends kid. Wife fell in love with the color so I ask my friend for first refusal if his kid decided to sell it(just got his licence). So I spent the summer going back and forth, selling, keeping, selling, keeping, ect. Finally his kid made up his mind. Not sure what the deal was with the red primer on the rear wheel, was not like that when I worked on it.  Not sure what my plans are yet, but will be going completely thru it this winter. |

Iv had some time and sandblasted the rear rim and repainted.  Then looked at the front rim and figured it needed to be repainted too.  Blasted  A splash of gloss white paint.  Also notice the previous owner did a wheelie that went wrong.  So I repainted luggage rack too.  Now the wait for the paint to dry. |

I also had to do some repairs on the front plastic. Looks like they didnt see the two screws in the underside of the front fender, so lets just rip the damn thing off. lol One post was missing so I cannibalized a CO2 detector that recently went "end of life" and cut the post off the plastic housing.    |

Nice score. What are your plans for this one? Thanks. At the moment, just going thru it and giving it some TLC. Going to repaint the muffler next. Its getting chilly here, and just brought down all the scoots(Honda's & Kymco's) into the basement. This year's riding is done. I want to get the Mellow Yellow off the bench and get one of my ZX50's on the bench and pull the engine. I want to start fitting the Airsal L/C cylinder, get the port timing mapped out, and come up with a plan of attack for the rest of that build. That's my main winter project. |
