They make water cooled 2 stroke scoots too. I don't think it matters if you use marine or all purpose or motorcycle. I think that they put "Marine" on the bottle so they can charge you more for the same Sh*t. This is a Yamaha Aerox engine. W/C Minarelli You don't see too many here in the states. Mostly in Europe. The Kymco Super 9 (Taiwanese) is also W/C :

Aerox's are pretty badass from what I have seen, of course scoots from Europe seem to trump most of the ones available/modded here stateside (not all of course). When would one reach a point where a LC setup would be necessary for reliability or driveability?

I checked the operation of the petcock and it had good flow when vacuum applied and I did replace vacuum and fuel lines and performed vac test. In looking at how the fuel lines are run on all these scoots there seems that they run up and down a little too much for my taste. I tend to feel that the fuel lines should always be pretty much running progressively down towards the fuel intake on the carb but with apparent space constraints under some of these guys the line will go up then down then up again to the carb in some cases. I feel maybe some re-routing of lines may help for consistent flow. Thoughts?

well i dont know if i was at the point where i needed it but it is nice being able to ride as hard as i want when ever i want and not have to worry about watching a cht and you dont have to worry about being lean as much as you do when your air cooled so if you want you can tune on the lean side for good power the other advantage is it takes less power to turn the water pump then it does to turn the fan

As long as the fuel line doesn't run up higher than the bottom of the tank is really doesn't matter if it runs up and down.
