My daughter will be at daycare all day tomorrow. If rain doesn't let up until tonight, the test drive can wait until then.

Just went on a 5.7 mile trip on the Ruckus. Didn't stall once. Fuled up half way through and it started back up with out any issues. I have to run some errands now but if the rain stays away for long enough I may be able to go on another ride. Things to note: after unplugging the OEM fuel pump, the fuel gauge on my speedo wasn't changing even after going from almost empty to full at the gas station. When I got back home I plugged the OEM and the gauge responded as it should. I unplugged the pump again and fiddled with the fuel sending unit and the fuel level changed as expected once more. For peace of mind I'll be carrying the OEM fuel pump in my backpack. Thanks for the help lilpinny

Side note: I have decided to let my daughter put some stickers on my ruck. They will be contained to the frame splitter and I won't be putting the stickers on until I can cover the whole thing. Sticker bomb if you will. This way the ruck keeps it's style but has a special place just for her. Ok sentimental side note done. 🤙🏼

Got caught in the rain while testing out the new Mikuni pump and Oko carb on the ruckus. I was on my way to get the current tag but it started pouring. A little rain never hurt anybody but let's just say I didn't stall on the 12 miles I rode but I didnt want to push my luck with the way Texas storms are. 🌩️🛵⛈️

The thing with the sender on the ruck is that it's not really a sender, it's a sensor. Met has a prope sender and that's why you swap it in and use a stage6 guage. Just buy gas early and often.

I have swapped to the met fuel sending unit. I guess I should have said that.

I don't know... After all the trouble you had with it, giving it a little shake once in a while to see how much gas you got ain't that bad of a thing.

I'm just going to leave this link here. These are for OLD tags and not every tag has a video. But let me know what you think about my side project. youtu.be/AZZ8Pc0f_fI

Just got back from a 20mile ride. There were sputters here and there but no stalls. Turned off the bike to take a pic of the current challenge to see if there were any issues starting it back up. There were none. Fired up first try. 🤙🏼

That I can do. I have a pretty good set of jets from TRS when I got the clocking flange and the intake.
