It’s been a while since the last update. A lot has changed at my work and I got a new toy ( of the 4 wheeled variety). The razZuma has been through a few changes as well. I swapped out the build motor and am saving it for something else and I took a few other things off it too. I have been working with my Venice as it’s already got the big brakes, built motor and slicks. Long story short, I no longer desire to continue developing the razZuma frame. With that said, I’m going to be listing it for sale shortly. Thanks to everyone that’s been watching this thread. I still have the Venice and the spree! I’m not going anywhere. Aw I liked the razz build. Do you have a thread for your Venice build? The Venice build can be viewed here: 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/26139/another-half-venice-disc-brakesIt’s a few steps ahead of where the RazZuma should be. I am also reviving my spree build. That’s going to be nuts.

Back in business!
Now that the new owner of the spree and TNG is relatively close by, it has renewed by interest in getting my Razz going again.
The hot rod motor that I initially built for it went with the Spree.
So, the motor current swapped in the Razz is still from a bugeye zuma but with a: 21mm del Malossi Sport 70cc top end Yasuni street pipe ( I don't know the exact model but it seems to not be as radical as the C16 ).
Transmission is 100% stock besides a Yellow Malossi contra spring and green Polini clutch springs.
The kill switch is finally wired in using the stock throttle housing switch.
The tires are old and hard. I could look into putting slicks on it again as I'd only use it for abandoned parking lot hooning.
Does anyone know of a bigger brake rotor for a bug-eye? I have a caliper relocation bracket for it but no rotor.

You build up some of the coolest custom scoots. They remind me of something that should be in the movie Mad Max .

The new owner of my old spree has been bitten with the 2t scooter bug. We raced around yesterday. My Razz ( powered by a bugeye zuma ) has a nasty mid range bog. I strongly suspect that it's due to the stock secondary pulley. If you watch the video carefully, you will hear the mid range bog on the razz. It will eventually power though it to get on the pipe and revs out pretty good. The new owner of the spree let me ride it. He's way more brave than I! It's a twitchy little thing. My own creation blew me away in the drag races! I have some parts coming from SSS so we'll see if I can make my Razz better.

I swapped in a Top Performance Variator kit with a new belt. I'm using the weights that come with the kit ( 7g ).
I also swapped in the NCY torque driver. I set it to the least radical angle so the torque driver will have the least resistance to open. I'm anticipating these parts to not only do away with my bogging issue but also help me keep up with the new owner of the hot-rod spree. We'll probably find out next weekend.

Poor mans lowering kit: On the bugeye zuma stem, there is a lip that prevents the shock body from protruding above the top to the clamp. I dremel'd that lip so the shock body can slide through it. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Gnarly looking little bike, can a tall person crinkle in to fit it?

Not really, but I'd like to see it.
I'm 5'6" and I feel pretty cramped.

Do the plastics not fit? I am doing something very similar but with a older jog with a bugeye front end

Unfortunately, the plastics no longer fit. The bars are completely different and the wider stem conflicted with the original Razz front plastics. I have a print of the adapter that was used. I'll share it here in a few minutes.
