Im just assuming the needle isn't adjustable. And youre a lot smarter and braver than me.I think Im gonna get an aftermarket carb.The main jet will probably have to be changed. Aftermarket carbs have adjustable needle jets right?

Not all carbs come with adjustable needles, but the pilot jet and main jets are always replaceable.

Carbs that you buy alone should be unsealed and adjustable. Maybe some are out there that come sealed, but check pics and if you see the headless screws or capped mix screw then avoid buying. When the carb comes on a scoot, it's sealed because of EPA standards that they have to meet. Individual parts can be sold without the same scrutiny.

Have any of you been driving your vip 50 with the stock carbs? And if so how many miles have you rode it with the stock carb?

Dont have a vip , but my zummer has 170+ on stock carb. Without issues... , but getting the modding bug (again) so not stock for long.

It seemed like the vip's were especially set up lean according to some posts here.
