CDI and regulator should be fine from the 139QMB to the GY6 unless you get a GY6 with a DC CDI when yours is AC or you get the 11 pole stator. Most will come with something compatible with what you have because most are AC CDI and more standard stator.
May need a rear wheel. Intake/spacer/gaskets if not included with the engine.

Im hoping i can use the wheel I've got. Ive read a few places the 10" 49cc wheels will bolt onto the 150 but ya never know.

So new troubles with the scooteroo
Go to start the bike this morning, hit the ignition button and it slowly cranks to a halt. Battery is dead.
Kick start it. Fires right up. Runs great. Took it for a long ride to work and stop for gas. Shut it off. Get back on, hit start and the battery is dead again..
Kick start it and all is well. Headlights are still bright. Horn is quiet though.. also broke the kickstart this time. Return spring is dickered.
I'm going to do some measurements with the multimeter. Check for loose connections, and then voltage of battery, charging voltage at the stator..
My guess is battery is probably bunko. It's the stock chinesium jobby. I've got an old racing gokart battery i think will work. Gonna charge it and see what it does.
Any other guesses?

Definitely check the battery out and when you get a good battery check for charging voltage.

So heres the sitch with the battery. The hardware was so rusted on the battery terminals, it snapped the terminals off when i tried to loosen them.
So i took some 10g wire and some brass butt xonnectors and soldered them directly to the terminals.
Charged battery to full on the bench. Rode for about 2 hours straight after that. Used the kick start. Park for a drank, go to use electric start and she ded.
I left my multimeter at the shop, I'll grab it tomorrow when i go back. Anything else to check apart from stator charging voltage?

Dang im just blowing up my own thread arent I.. Found a big engine kit on ebay. This should be all i need except an exhaust to get running, eh? And im oretty sure the flange is the same between qmb and gy6 so i could probably just modify my existing pipe. rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F292521368731Getting some mixed information here.. says piston size is 52.4mm, which would be 125cc. But it says the engine code is 157qmj which is 150cc... gonna contact em but in any case this is the best price I've found on a long case engine bigger than 125 and it includes all the ancillarys

Sounds like a bad battery to me. Pretty common with scooters. They're cheap, pick up another one.

Thanks buddy. That was my first thought, gonna check voltage and resistance at the stator before i order a new one.
