I have noticed that every topic starts out by saying, THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE. My suggestion is there should be a place where it says THIS IS THE PLACE FOR QUESTION ABOUT?. I find it a little questionable where to put my questions. Just a suggestion

"This is the place to look for help solving general problems with..." is how the troubleshooting forums descriptions start. It is worded that way so maybe people will understand that it's not just for asking questions, but you can actually look for answers. Pretty much every forum ever already has an abundance of members that either are unaware of resources like searching or databases like our tech or FAQ areas, or lack the ambition to spend a few minutes looking, or think they're problem is the only one of it's kind. I'm not complaining, because the activity is good, but I haven't felt it necessary to specifically ask or persuade anyone to post questions. We have no shortage of them. Many people do post in the wrong areas, but to me a lot of that has to be lack of effort. Good news is I can move them if they are a better fit elsewhere. I don't feel like the subforums are difficult to decipher. Got a 49cc based 4T problem, post it in 49cc 4T troubleshooting. Wanna make your 2T faster, post about it in 2T performance. Wanna BS, post in off-topic.
They've been that way for years without 1 complaint that I recall from a total of near 10,000 members. If it's an issue for a lot of people, speak up. To me, it's pretty clear... but then I'm the one that wrote it. I'm always open to suggestions. Doesn't mean anything is sure to change, but if I think it makes more sense than what we're doing now and is practical to do, then it may happen.
My advice to anyone on this forum would be to look at what's there. Choose what you think fits best. Don't be afraid to post where you think it's right. Don't make a post in each section though. Worst case scenario is that you get a PM saying I've moved your thread to a different area with a link to it so it can be easily found, and I don't think that's too bad of a worst case. The only places you can't ask questions are closed/locked so you can't post at all so you don't have to worry about messing up that way.

10k members? Wow man. I knew this was THE place for scooter talk, but I never realized it was that big. You've built a wonderful empire here Sir.

I second what 2stroked said, and it has nothing to do with the fact that we are both from Kentucky. If someone has a scooter question and can not find the answer here, they should just give up.
