I've been scooting around on this little Silverfox that I picked up for $50 while I procrastinate about fixing my Vespa et2, and while my rt-50 gets built. Since buying it, I replaced the bore with an Airsal 70cc cast iron kit and gave her a rattle can paint job. Benji was nice enough to swap me an old leo Vince zx and now she zips around like a badly tuned kitten. The variator is stock with stock rollers and is preventing me from zipping around like a well tuned kitten. My question right now is, what weight rollers should I use? And is it worth putting in a stiffer contra spring? The build right now: Airsal 70cc cast iron sport kit Dellorto 21mm (silver one with the Jets that it came with) Leo Vince ZX Stock everything else I know the carbie is an overkill, but the 17mm mikuni that I had on it is leaking out of every orifice. Here is a video of her running: youtu.be/21V2zSBB0Bs

Most likely lighter weights on my 70cc Corsa I'm running 6 gram roller but my gearing is high, not sure what gears your running maybe in the 13:1 range I'd try 6gr or get a roller tuning kit that should wake it up some,be careful jumping up to too big of spring it will cause belt eating or snapping issues

I popped in a Stage6 sport variator and a mix of 5g and 6.25g weights. The rpms are a little low I think but my belt is worn, so ill pop in just 5g once the new belt comes

Update! Seized the Airsal cast iron kit. Was a piece of junk.
Popped in a Airsal T6, leo Vince zx, stage 6 variator, stiffer clutch springs, 17.5mm dellorto w/ 85 main jet.
7g weights keep it at 8500rpm which is the powerband for the Leo Vince as far as I read.
The airbox was stock with a bunch of extra holes drilled. To my surprise, it runs alot better without the extra holes. With the 85 main jet, it's actually running a tad rich.
She hits 80 on a straight and the front tire pops up if I'm not careful on take off. Perfect little commuter.

Had a spare ignition coil off a RB30 from another project. Hooked up the positive to accessory and she's off! Got an extra 10kmh speed on the top end! Makes me think I had it jetted too rich and the stronger spark is burning the excess fuel. OR the ignition coils on our scoots are shit and we all need RB30 ignitions!
