Went to DMV to pass riding test around parking lot, however they said i need to have insurance on the scooter in order to do use it for the test. Very silly because its takes place on the sealed off parking lot area, i dont see how liability insurance would do any good there, but they had to be pricks so now i need to find scoot with insurance.
I need small frame 49cc scooter for Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 2:40 PM address 803 Cole Avenue, Hollywood, CA
Can offer $20.
Pretty much test take place in the area marked with green no street riding.

Do 49 cc scooters need insurance in your state? Or, is it just some stupid rule for the testing only? If it were me, I would just rent a scoot which will be insured...take the test...return it. Probably more than $20 but not much more I would think. Or, buy scooter insurance for your scoot. Here, in KY it costs about $6/month for just liability so, get the insurance, take the test, cancel the policy if you do need/want it. Good luck. Of course, knowing CA it probably costs hundreds of dollars.

By law in cali you need insurance to drive even 49cc and M1 motorcycle license, however i meet people who been pulled over and cop never checked for insurance on scooter.
To get insurance i need to first put registration in my name, i don't want to do that...
Where do you rent a scooter?

Call your regular insurance company and explain what’s going on. They should be able to write you a policy.
There’s also a couple of guys on CL and OfferUp that rent scoots for the DMV test.

I have always rented them from scooter rental places by the coast when I used to travel to Florida. Surely CA has to have places like that for the tourists? Maybe that is illegal there too...I have no idea. Bill

I have had my MC license for 42 years so I never think about it. How can he drive on the road without an MC licence then? Wouldn't the delivery service require one? You get caught here with no license and they impound the vehicle, no matter if scooter, car, or motorcycle. Bill

The way she talk to me is like programmed me to fail made me nervous and it happened could not balance and touched the ground. what a joke, that women never even touched a motorcycle in her life does not know that this *&***&^ circle means nothing in real world riding in streets of LA for 6 months is nothing to do with circle.
Also she forced me run that stupid circle 2 times counterclockwise without any practice at all! When i checked in DMV they told me if they see me practice there they will fail me automatically what a low life money extorting men hating scum!

Reviewing your previous postings . . appears it has ALWAYS been about "gaming the system". Looks like someone received some well deserved comeuppance . . not practicing (somewhere) is on you!

Sorry dude, but if I was testing ya Id fail you too.
The constant revving (whaa whaa whaaaa) and the speed run thru the cones like you were trying for a record run.
You should of been chill and took your time thru the test. Show them your serious and responsible. Blasting off and passing tester in almost a threatening manner because you failed just reinforced the their judgment.
Sorta like getting a speeding ticked and once the stop is over you roast the tires while leaving in front of the cop because you got a ticket.

You’d have a easier time either being smoother on the throttle or setting up the clutch so you can just putt along. It’s not a race it’s to show the tester you have the skill to make them happy. Now you know what to expect, practice. .

What you mean i were going as slow as i could. i actually felt i was going too slow like i was going to lose balance and fall, was not revving just trying to have little speed boosts, my throttle does not have a "slow mode" so i got to add little boosts of speed, if i keep throttle open it can start accelerating too fast. and is a muffler i have every time use throttle it makes loud noise.

Doing slow speed testing on a modded scoot is tricky , clutch springs etc.
