if you want to build a race capable 150cc gy6, then you will have to get a 4 valve head, get stiffer valve springs port the intake and exhaust, run a straight through large diameter header pipe. get a taida stock stroke crank and get it trued to almost perfect. get the cam that would work the best at high revs. run the stiffest clutch and torque springs you can possibly find, run around 8 to 9g roller weights, run a programmable cdi, and modify or make a inner rotor stator to get the engine revs up quicker. also get rid of the electric starter clutch and hardware and use a external starter, run a high flow oil pump with an oil cooler. and run a 26-28mm pwk carb with a power jet.
this would be the best option that i could think of if you want a engine built for racing.

I'm surprised I can't find a nice machined and domed piston in a stock bore size... that would spice things up
