Hello guys. Looking for the rc gurus on here. Ok so i have had a new receiver and remote for at least2 years now and no issues. I took my car to a car show a few weeks ago and could barley get 15 feet of reception. Put new batteries in controller and all that but still would stop working after 15 to 20 feet. And i used to be able to take it as far as i could see. With the same remote and receiver. Any help??

Sadly alot of the chinese made transmitters & recievers dont seem to last. I usually stuck with Futaba or Hitec. Best i can say is to make sure tx antenna has a good connection. As well as the rx My RC days kinda ended when my eyesight started to fizzle.

Someone else using the same frequency will cause extreme reception and control problems. Sometimes local RF sources cause problems.

think i found the issue. i re soldered the wires and got it back together. haven't gotten the chance to check the distance yet but it still connects with the receiver but also could be just the short wire still getting reception close to the car.

It looks like the wire was twisted up badly.

i have no idea how it got twisted like that. the antenna would swivel but not even 180 degrees.
