Hello everybody, im going to get my first scooter probably will wait till next spring because it's gonna snow here soon. Then I will use the scooter three or four days per week for about six mile round trips, occasionally going 20 miles.
i am interested in Tao Tao and Wolf. I've seen both on Internet and saw Wolf Blazer and RX50 today at a shop. 50cc is what I need. I want the storage box on the back. I would prefer LED lighting. I can do with 10 inch wheels. (The wolf I looked at had 12 inch wheels.)
i have joined the the forum in hopes that I will gain lots of knowledge before I buy one in April 2019. I will look around the forum for reviews on the Chinese (inexpensive) 50cc scooters. And let me know about other inexpensive brands too.
Thank you.

Smart choice; looking around well before you buy. Many show up here after making a purchase and not knowing what they were getting into. TaoTao and Wolf are both Chinese scooters. Wolf claims to be an American company, but don't be fooled into thinking the scoot is American made. From my understanding, where Wolf differs is that they have tried to setup a real network of dealers so you may actually be able to get support. With the cheapest Chinese scoots, like TaoTao and most others, you're lucky if you find a dealer that can or will be of any real use.

Hi. I just received a Vittaci Viper 49cc . I've put 100 miles on it so far . Runs good .... So far . Do a search and you'll see the dealers . Most are in Texas for some reason . May be all the same . They do have a lay a way it says on their web page . Txpowersports is where I purchased mine . If you do order one I wouldn't recommend you assemble it unless you have experience . I would of been in bad shape if not for a friend that knew about these Chinese scooters .

Hello everybody, Thanks for the nice warm welcome to the scooter world. Yes I'm going to learn a lot by the time I get a 49/50 cc. After reading some of the boards I get the feeling that scooters are addictive and you really get into them. I had never had a firearm before but last year I got one and I am addicted to that now. I even bought another after a little while. I have one expert on that subject in my life but after I bought the first one I joined a board and love the feedback and comraderie. And I learned so much more.
So now that I'm going into scooter world and its gonna snow here soon that gives me plenty of time to join and learn from my new friends about the scooter world. I don't have any friends with scooters so I'm alone for now. But thanks for all the help so far and in the future.
I'll ask questions a lot. 1. I want it fully assembled and READY TO RIDE. how are your experiences buying a scooter over the Internet with delivery to your door? Do they do a good job on assembling to the point of ready to ride? Have you known any trusted Internet dealers? 2. There aren't many local scooters shops here. I visited one yesterday (they are motor sports too) the salesman wasn't there so I talked to a young kid who was a mechanic, a nice fella, but he was hesitant to give me set prices on the wolf and Tao Tao. He said he could order the Tao tao and then sell it to me ready to ride. I told him I would like a good personal and business relationship if I bought from his store for service and all that. And I sorta learned that the owner does do that but it's on a individual basis and to call him. So, again another reason to learn and fill up my brain with knowledge of scooters. Did you buy from a local shop? I'm in Minnesota. 3. If I take a course in basic motorcycle/scooter maintenance, will I be good for almost everything in taking care of my new scooter? I watched YouTube and changing the oil is easy. 4. How is your vitacci? Do you like it? 5. How is your experience with Tao Tao pony, atm50, cy50? And Wolf RX50? 6. 7. 8. More questions later. Thanks so much glad to be in this new community.

Live riding the Vittaci . Kind of wish I bought a Tao just due to fact it's mentioned a lot in parts manuals . That aside I can't imagine anything running as good as it does . If I had do overs I would of gotten it fully assembled . UPS delivered it to my door, lucky I live in place that could accept a 18 wheeler out front . I had to assemble the handle bars, front wheel including speedometer sensor, disk brake caliper , front of scooter . Both kickstands . Add acid to battery, charge battery and install it . Scooter has started easy and ran good since I first started it . My only complaint I can blame on dealer is gas gauge doesn't work, but they are sending me part . Anything else you need to ask feel free to do so . George

Today I found a store that is 19 miles away. I'm gonna go there tomorrow and look at the Tao Tao speedy ($899)and the Bintelli Sprint.($1199) And others.. There is one called an Icebear Rocket for $999 I wonder if I can get a better deal at this time of year in a winter state? The ad on line showed 100 dollars off those above prices. Let me know some questions to ask. And I will let you all know how it went.

Hi everybody, Well I found this great shop 25 miles away. After all my internet research. The shop and sales manager is great. I got 2018 Jiajue Bintelli Sprint 49cc. And I thought I would have to get a motorcycle liscence but in this state all I need is a drivers liscence. So I was riding that day. I test drove this one and Icebear Rocket and Bintelli Bolt. I liked the Bintelli sprint the most. They had the four colors to choose from, Blue, black, burgendy, and white. And this shop had specially ordered a specific color called Marron because they sell a lot to u of Minnesota people. It was cool looking but blue was so great I got the blue. The Bolt had a special Gold co.or for the golden gophers and that was the best color ever but only available in the Bolt.
Well, I got the scooter and a helmet and cable lick and vehicle cover and some free star torn fuel cleaner fluid. And I addition to the Bintelli two year warranty. I got a 2 year maintenance plan that is awesome while I learn to maintain it myself. I got it Tuesday and now it's Thursday and I have scooted 50 miles. I'm braking in the engine gently like they reccomend end and doing lots of stops and starts and varying the speed and trying to keep it under 30 mph. For the first 300 miles. The weather looks nice in the ten day forecast. And if I'm lucky I can enjoy it til thanksgiving if the weather God is benevolent.
I love going around in this autumn colors and doing errands like getting milk and stuff. I also got a so storage trunk that is great. I went out for a first night time drive last night and it was so fun. The headlamps work great. The engine idles great. Starts right up. All good to report three days in. I will try to post pics now
