3. If I take a course in basic motorcycle/scooter maintenance, will I be good for almost everything in taking care of my new scooter? I watched YouTube and changing the oil is easy. With a course in maintenance, this forum, YouTube and service manuals, you should be fine. Well, after some tool collection probably. Congrats on the new ride. I think going with the Bintelli may be a wise choice because of the difference in support vs most Chinese brands.

90GTVert I agree. This has better parts than the Tao Tao and ice bear. And good warranty and maintenance plan. And even thought the store was 20 miles away. It turns out the owner of the shop and I are practically neighbors just 10 blocks apart in the same suburb. And I used to bicycle on his street to go to the grocery store. Now I'm gonna scoot. Told him to wave at me when he sees me whizzing by. I'm gonna stay on top of maintenance and learn from this forum and YouTube and the shop. I ordered a battery tender jr so that I can tend to the battery this winter. I'm having so much fun.

from MineSoooda, huh? Cool Senna bro, I am from Minnesota originally. You have it close, but the Scandanavia accent with heavy Cannuck overtones is required. "Minna-sooo-ta" or "Ooofda" or "Howse"."How da 'yas like my new scootah? Ehh?"I must apologise Canik! Richfield boy, turned wild. Ha! Not even a Scando...Irish/English+German/Dutch with heavy Omaha Sioux blood. But, I do speak "Sotan" and more.
