So, yesterday I took the cvt cover off cuz as I was told afterwards the cvt bearing is bad/going bad, I looked at the belt and it's in great condition and is a bando belt.

Yeah, the belt is longer so it's harder/more expensive just to get a good replacement (Bando). No belt for the OR kit that I know of, but most never use an OR kit. Cases and CVT covers are different, but the good news there is that some ATVs used those and I've actually seen the long Adly CVT covers come up when I couldn't find any good standard Minarelli CVT covers on eBay. If you need the stretched long case Adly specific parts, this may be of use for searches : Adly Moto/Her Chee Scooters : Bullseye 50, Cat 50, Fox 50, GTA 50, GTC/Nifty 50, Jet 50, Noble 50, Panther 50, Thunder Bike 50, Thunder Bike 100, Viva 50 Adly Moto/Her Chee Youth ATVs : ATV 50, ATV 90 Arctic Cat Youth ATVs : DVX 50, DVX 90 Can-AM/Bombardier Youth ATVs : DS 50, DS 90 Lambretta Scooters : Uno 50 You may need to change jets, you may not. I would have a jet kit on hand if it were me, so I know I have it covered if needed and I could try a few to be sure I get the best results. Here are some pipes. Mounts may need slight work when dealing with clone engines, but you should be able to get most Minarelli horizontal exhausts to fit. www.scootertuning.ca/en/19-exhaust-systemswww.scootertuning.ca/en/13-exhaust-systemsThe street stuff that looks pretty standard usually gives you a boost in all around power, but it tends to be mild. The sport pipes should provide more power at higher RPM. The downside being they tend to drop low rev power. Low RPM can be bypassed so it doesn't really matter with stiffer clutch springs and lighter rollers. Some CVT tuning will be required if you want the most from anything beyond the basic street pipes. Hi, 90GTVert. I'd like to start planning for upgrades on this scoot. Mind you that it has almost 9k miles on it. Should anything be changed out prior to upgrading any performance parts? What 70cc BBK should I go for? Clutch? Variator? Rollers? Springs? Carb? Any suggestions on anything? Edit: Is this complete engine "minerally stretched shortcase" a great setup to upgrade on?

It should be a good setup to upgrade. I wouldn't go high end or anything that really kills low rev power just because of the lack of over range belt availability. Otherwise, should be fine. www.49ccscoot.com/faq/whichbbk.htmlwww.49ccscoot.com/faq/kitneeds.htmlEveryone has their own preference, but I've been a fan of iron 70cc sport kits. Stuff like the Polini Sport and Malossi Sport. Can work with stock carb and pipe with just some carb and CVT tuning. If you want to get a different carb, a 19mm DellOrto PHBG is a popular choice and will support adding a pipe later if you want more power. Whatever carb you go with, get a jet kit. Buy a kit or kits from one manufacturer or jet sizes could be off relative to each other, which can cause tuning headaches. Stock clutch is fine. I'm not sure exactly what rollers/sliders, but they'll need to be heavier. www.49ccscoot.com/faq/clutchsprings.htmlwww.49ccscoot.com/faq/rollerslider.htmlwww.49ccscoot.com/faq/whatweight.htmlwww.49ccscoot.com/faq/rollerslider.htmlCheck description of this vid for more details about what it was as well. I had to replace the crank due to a failure. Normally I wouldn't do a crank just for a sport BBK. Just make sure you don't have play in the bearings and the conrod doesn't have radial play on the big end. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LT8j4mxVmSE

I believe the Adly should have a 10mm wrist pin, so you should be able to look at cylinders for the 02-11 Zuma. There are other sellers, but dealing with scootertuning.ca has not felt like dealing with a foreign country for me. Everything has arrived quickly and customer service has been stellar.

Right now with my scoot, from reading about the clutch springs, I have really bad take off making me think taking off isn't at the powerband, I am guessing I should wait to install the BBK before messing with clutch springs. It has horrible take off. Seems common sense to leave it for now but I really don't know how long till I get everything prepped "bought" to be installed. I ride a lot of uphill roads where as there would be traffic lights, which makes take off worse than taking off on a straight.

Get some springs and try it. You may want something different after the kit, but IMO you need to buy at least a couple of sets to try anyway.

To be honest, you want to "waste" money on cvt tuning parts. Get lots of rollers, a few contra springs (2 of each as they go soft quick sometimes), and a few different clutch springs. Once you find the "sweet spot", it won't stay for long. You want to change parts or youll just want to mess with it haha. Tuning takes a long time, and there are several variables to think about. It seems like I'm always buying rollers and clutch springs and contras haha. I always want to change it to something I don't have.

Spend the money on a quality kit. As an experiment I picked up a cheap kit just to see what you get and it wasn’t pretty. Still have it on a shelf. Which ever cylinder you go with replace the wrist pin bearing. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/20056/why-buy-ebay-70cc-bbkSame goes for CVT parts I feel the Polini, Malossi, stage6 etc springs and rollers hold up better then the cheaper stuff. The cheap rollers are fine for tuning but then switching to decent parts is a good choice.

So I've been reading the speedometer wrong, facepalm. Someone pointed out that the outer numbers are KMPH and inner are MPH then I recognized that the fastest this scoot goes is 45MPH and that's with the wind on a flat. 25MPH up a hardcore incline hills. Def need upgrades for these hills. Why they did it this way I have no idea, should be the other way for usa.
