So, I want to mount a cell phone mount to the handle bars. I have a few questions. Any suggestions on mounting. Will a dremel tool will work on plastic without having plastic melting problems? Here is the mount. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079Z1CH9BHere is where I think the mount will be in red box but I think I need to cut into the front plastic too, to get the top phone mount grip to reach the top handle bar. Suggestions?

Just make sure your mirrors are secure before you mount it and maybe double check after and periodically.

for reference for others, if you don't want to spend the extra for a Ram mount (they are great btw), there are other inexpensive units from Amazon/ebay. This was like $4 i think... and if you want something beefier and mount at base of mirror, this was inexpensive too. It also came with USB port to connect to your battery or sim.

I use the Rammounts, both on the mirror stalk and under the mirror. I have 1 phone holder and 4 mounts on different scoots.
