hey all!! im new to ALL this.. here is a pic of my first scooter i took the pic yesterday BEFORE i installed my new 100cc big bore kit.. wow that was a process!! i watched the youtube video all the way through this and it helped me through it.. I FINALLY got it installed and after a few headaches lol i got it started !!! BUT i have run into a few snags.. I seem to be leaking oil (only in little drops here and there) and i cant seem to locate where it may be coming from... i removed the valve cover gasket and made a gasket from silicone gasket maker, but that apparently isnt where the leak is coming from.. hmmm .. but any way not sure this is this thread to ask these questions... but anyway.. i am glad to be here hope to get to meet some kool people here !! i WILL NOT go to ANY other scooter site here OR on youtube.. i LOVE this guys website and his youtube videos.. !! anyway here is the pic of my garage and scooter:  |

 Clean the engine off well and try taking a very brief ride to see if you can spot the source of the oil leak.

 Clean the engine off well and try taking a very brief ride to see if you can spot the source of the oil leak. thanks for the tip... i think im getting obseesed with my scooter.. after going through the entire process of installing the 100cc big bore,, (first time ever doing ANY mechanical work) i had NO IDEA what to expect.. but i just wanted to do it so bad as a learning experience and also wanted a more powerful scooter.. also,, oil is getting in my air filter like crazy.. what would cause that? but that gives me a better hint of whats going on right ? i also bought a brand new carbuerator and a racing variator and racing clutch but am not going to install until i have figured out and repaired the leak.. im learning ALOT from the youtube series associated with this website.. what is that guys name btw ? i mean the one that always does all the incredible instructional videos? it was weird.. during the entire big bore install process.. i had him on my ipad right next to me all night and would pause and play pause and play the video all night until i had the 100cc installed.. it was like he was right there with me lol... any way.. im just typing away lol.. i have so many questions but will save them for the appropriate thread .. but right now.. my scooter's out in the garage.. i have the air filter off and tomorrow morning im gonna take that plastic cover off and then clean it and see what i can find.. i will make a video so i can better explain my questions.. anyway.. thanks all !! im very glad to be a new member here!!! have a GREAT NIGHT!! |
