If I worked every day with my tools Milwaukee or Rigid would be my choice, with a big plus for lifetime batteries with the Rigid.
I am retired so I have had a full set of DeWalt 18V XRP tools for 10+ years and they have done well but I am using my fourth set of batteries, normally at ~$100/pair. The little 1/4" impact driver has been worth it's weight in gold for driving/removing lag screws and Phillips screws. It also works well for work on the CVT. I have two working drill-drivers since my original was dropped (don't loan tools) and suffers a little chuck wobble. It was cheaper to buy a new drill driver with a pair of plain 18V batteries than it was to send the original in for repair. The hammer drill function 'works' but not nearly as well as my corded HF SDS hammer drill/demolition tool.
I have 2 ea 1/2" and a 3/4" air impact tools. The air impact tools run best with surge tanks and 1/2" air lines and large couplers. My compressor and distribution lines also run at 175PSI. I don't regulate down unless I have to. Running an air system is expensive but helps compensate for age related weakness.

In my Opinion Ryobi has the best Diy home tools great value and good quality for the price ! I have two drawers full of them . I would suggest the kobalt 24V line get the combo kit 129.00 Drill and Impact charger and battery . They are brushless at that and powerful as Heck , get the 4amp battery when you can . I use Snap-on and seriously i would rather have 24V kobalt i have used them and they are better and have more battery life and cost less. I could buy the whole 24V line for what i spent on two Snap on tools . lol Ryobi or Kobalt would be my choice .. If you are not scared of reconditioned look at CPO Tool they sell new and factory recon tools any brand good deals with warranties .
