scooterpimp Do you see a 'thumbs up' in the lower right corner of your post?

Hmm, just noticed this - it seems simple enough to add a reaction, it shows up in the lower right corner of the post. If I, say, close that browser tab and re-open in another, the reaction is gone. Running Safari, not sure if this might be browser-dependent?

I used to use Chrome but it is an absolute memory hog, and it's a little more tightly coupled with the Googopoly, not that I'm paranoid or anything. I just went back to benji's last post again on the "Listening" Thread where I added a reaction - it was not there. I hit the browser refresh button, and it appeared. I dunno man.

Try Firefox as a browser. The post reaction system works in version 61.0.2 at least. I don't know about the later versions.

scooterpimp I just gave you an 'OMG' smiley face on your post above. Since you probably don't see it then it must be your browser or viewing software. Many people use a phone which sucks at the internet. Sometimes add-ons or apps can block things from appearing. I run a lot of add-ons in Firefox which occasionally cause website operational problems.

Well, the vote was 10 to 5 in favor of post reactions when I locked it just now. I normally don't go against a vote. I'm the admin, so if I just wanted to do what I wanted to do, I wouldn't bother with a vote. I was hoping to do what everyone wanted.
As it turns out, the post reactions were barely getting used compared to the standard likes or the add-on LOLs. Not much point of having post reactions replace something that actually gets used more. It has been about 3 weeks, so if people haven't figured it out and started using it yet then I assume they aren't likely to. For that reason, I got rid of the post reactions button and put it back to just the like and LOL buttons that are not anonymous.

Had to lol at this, just because! I like the old system better. Good choice Brent 👍

The anonymous bit really really hurt that app. Something else may work better someday.
