Well we are getting our first snow of the year. I swapped the summer gas tool out for the winter gas tools the other day. So I went out today and slid the throttle over, hit the primer a few times and set the choke on the snowblower. Hit the electric start and it fired right off. The snowblower was stored this spring with TruFuel. Now I can sit in my hottub while getting covered in snow vs trying to get the snowblower running.

Luckily I’m in toasty south FL, but we have the rec90 gas here for the boats, my scoot loves the corn free gas! I get a few more MPGs and a little higher top speed with it too.

All of my summer stuff sits in the shed with 10% ethanol gas all winter long and fires right up as long as I've kept the batteries on tenders for the big mowers. I've had plenty of issues with old gas in scoots and other IC engines, but lawn and garden stuff has always treated me well in that respect. I just assumed that's one of the benefits of having stuff like an 800cc engine that only makes 25HP. One of the riders is 18 years old and it's been stored the same since it was new. Honestly, I never intend to not treat the gas. I always think I'll do it, then I'm so ready to be done with mowing that once I don't have to do it anymore I don't go near the mowers again till I have to. I often have 1-5 gallons that sits in a can that whole time too, and I use that at the start of the next season.

All of my outdoor equipment runs on 100% gas, usually what is left over from the scoot premium can. The only thing that runs on E10 is my old '03 chevy van that gets filled up about every two months or 200 miles. The gas gauge does not work and I don't drive it much...
