I've been asking around a lot recently about the lack of availability of Open Pit. I like a variety of BBQ sauces and I like to always have a jug of Open Pit original in the house. I'm finding that one place after another isn't carrying it or stopped carrying it. Nobody knows why. I goggled it and the company appears to still exist. I'm trying to avoid doing a "contact us" at this point. I was surprised that they actually showed several flavors that I had never seen.
So is this shortage just in my area of central Minnesota or is the brand obsolete ?
I have to decide if I need to do something like order a hundred cases or something crazy.

I’ve been using Golden Blends sauce for a few years now after a friend gifted me a bottle. It’s small batch stuff that shows they care about their product. I think there is only 4 varieties I only use the Black powder blend and the wing slinging sauce but the dry country dip is good for adding flavor to your old ladies over cooked pork. Grill up some wings, throw them in a bowl with some wing sauce, toss them around and they will be the best wings you’ve had. I usually make my own sauce but this is my go to if I don’t feel like making it. goldenblendsbbq.strikingly.com

Thanks all for the input. Funny, I thought that the stuff was common across the US, like Kraft or Kleenex. The bottle says Pinnacle Foods group, Cherry Hill, NJ
Ryan Ott the link you provided looks good but, I looked up the bottle displayed. Good news is its a quart. Bad news is it costs $28 shipped. Ouch.

Not sure what’s up with their site but it usually $28 for 4 flasks.

Thanks for the link. I've got the cooking skills of a infant. But I make my own beer and process my own deer and do a pretty good job of it. Maybe a homemade BBQ sauce would be a good hobby.
