Hello, new member here from Cape Cod, MA. I'm on my third scooter, a 2017 Kymco Super 8 50 X. I ride nearly every day, except if there's snow or ice on the road. Looking to gradually increase both top speed and torque of this scooter, as 4T doesn't have the torque of my last 2T Kymco. Removing the rev limiter comes first!

 A big bore kit is the most popular way to gain torque and speed on the 139QMB engine.

Thanks for the info. Upgrades are planned for this winter. I didn't want to get too far into mods. until the warranty ran out -- first ever scooter I bought new!

Welcome, Cape Cod is not a name I hear mentioned much these days on our side of the pond. I must search my memory banks to see why it used to be.

This 4T will do until I find another 2T ZX. milly: To a Briton, Cape Cod may best be known as the home of the Kennedy family. They maintain their seaside family compound about 10 km. from here.
