Nice scoot! I have one identical to it, and a red one, and a naked version. You did a great job getting all the krap off. I may have a spare rubber floorboard around somewhere if I did not throw it away. It's yours if I can find it.

Much want here. I got over 30,000 miles from mine, and you should too! I would take another on as a project. Currently 4T, and miss 2T. Good luck with it

I found the spare rubber floor mat. It is in fair shape. I will snap a picture soon as I get back over there.
PM me your address and I will send it out to you if you would like.

Looks much better after ya got those cruddy stickers off. I have no idea how a Nixon sticker got onto it, but I think it was very old. Didnt peel off at all and the heat gun was useless. It's the one that needed a careful razor blade and goo gone.

wiscootsin I got your PM with address. I will get that out to you next week. The rubber mat has circles molded into the bottom that snap into the bigger roundish holes in the floorboard. Do you have it running yet?

wiscootsin I got your PM with address. I will get that out to you next week. The rubber mat has circles molded into the bottom that snap into the bigger roundish holes in the floorboard. Do you have it running yet? I posted about "fixing" the battery in a different thread. I got it started (electric) shooting carb cleaner with the airbox off (turns out it wasnt attached to the carb, just mounted). It seemed to drive fine, got up to 38mph. It stalled at a long red light. Had to walk it to a parking lot, kick started it and kept it revved at the one light on the way home. So I probably need to clean the carb real good. Also need to figure out how to get the airbox hooked to the carb and mounted at the same time. Seems like an either/or right now. Any ideas?

I would go through the carb for sure to see what you got. Definitely get the stock airbox going if any way possible.
Running without an airbox is gonna lean it waay out. It may have soft seized on you at the light.

Thanks when I get to cleaning the carb out I'll check the spark plug too.
I'm gone for a week so may be a while. I'll update as I get back into it.
Will removing the cdi limiter and/or variator limiter negatively impact the reliability of the moped or miles I could get out of it?
