Does anyone know of an oversized intake that'll tuck in there without changing the engine hanger? It's a standard Yamaha style stock, but the engine hanger is way different from most scooters so it sits right on top of the intake.

Yes, please post several pics. I want one so bad.
After doing some starting at pics on Google, it looks like maybe a rear mount intake could work, or maybe a normal big-valve intake for a pwk. I bet you would get more carb clearance of you lowered it an inch.

Something sized similar to stock would probably work. Rear facing would not. reason I’m wondering is I’ll probably hang the lc engine I’ve ever so slowly been building in this one and have a pwk carb I’m wanting to use. Unless it winds up evil enough for the 28mm Mikuni, lol.
its funny, as open as this thing seems they still made it such a pain to get at the carb.

I think a normal pwk-style big valve intake should work. I think I got an extra if you need one. I'll have to go searching.

Yeah, the whole engine is vaguely different from other longcase stuff I've played with. It's like not quite a Zuma.
The engine I'm building is on Eton cases so I should get out a tape measure and make sure nothing that matters is different.

What size belt and do you know the rear end ratio? I guess I could check the diagram haha.
Just checked. Looks like a 11.07:1 rear end and an 878×17×28 belt. I'm guessing no overrange available :/ but I like the 12" wheels and tall rear end. I bet it's alot like the Eton case.

What's the engine code? It's usually stamped or etched into the case by the shock mount or close to it

I don’t know for certain but guy that had it before said the Adly cases are such you can’t get an ovverrange set up in them without serious cutting. It’s laid out like a Zuma, but narrower. I’m not trying to build up the Adly cases though, as long as I don’t discover they did weirdness with the mounts like Genuine I’m good.

Yeah, apparently that’s Adly’s designation for their Minarelli based 50cc engines. Next time I’m inside the vario I’ll have to pull the rear pulley and see what the gearbox cover looks like. See if it seems to match either the Jog or Zuma.
