Spring is here

No rain in Wales for 6 days and it's not rained. Been taking the scoots instead of the car to the school after the first day and left me bicycle and all cycle training stuff there as there till next tuesday with the kids.

Neighbours Magnolia tree looks good. I spoke to her the other day,she is 92 and still catches the bus into town. Said her husband planted it 40 yrs ago and it never bloomed till he passed away and the next season it bloomed.

Pretty cool that he's still here with her. If that is the kind of Magnolia that has thick glossy green leaves, here's a neat trick. Toss a few fresh leaves into a small fire. The water in them will turn to steam and burst thru sounding like a small firecracker.
