It’s one way to keep the sparks out of the solvent tank. I’d say it’s ok. I took the guards off of mine but it’s ok it stops pretty quick when my finger gets jammed in it.

I had a delivery to make to the docks at Liverpool,the guy told me I would need hard hat,gloves,glasses and boots.I just drove away,if it is that dangerous why risk it Geoff

That's what all the old timers with less than ten fingers told me. But, they also have less than ten fingers..

I have an old Craftsman grinder setup. If I stuck a finger in it the damn thing would eat my hand... geoffh -They just wanted you to pay someone to deliver it
