Okay I've had my KYMCO Movie for a few years now(5 yrs) and im now tired of the RPM limiter. Top end is limited to 9200rpm even going down hills.
I'm presuming that it's tied into the CDI but for the love of me i can't seem to figure out/find one that fits.
Any ideas help always grateful.

Is it just a matter of wiring the connection blocks?

I guess that one part of it. I'm just afraid of getting one that doesn't work for me 150. I'd rather get the parts right the first time as it's expensive to get parts here in Canada.

What does your CDI connection look like? I got a couple of results when I quickly googled Kymco Movie CDI. One looks like a common GY6 CDI connection. If that's what you have, you could try picking up a standard GY6 CDI. Find out if it's AC or DC and check the pinout vs what wires are on your CDI. If it just seems to be something like a wire arrangement issue, you may be able to just rearrange the wires in the connector(s) from your scoot. www.google.com/search?q=GY6+CDI+pinout
