A neighbor in the Navy was re-assigned to San Diego and gave me his 2001 Derbi Atlantis air cooled scooter with about 5k miles on it.
It appears to have been stored outdoors, so slowly taking panels off, cleaning parts, removing evidence of mouse inhabitants etc.
The fuel tank had been chewed by mice, but I think I have this repaired with a Harbor Fright plastic welding tool, and some fuel tank sealer.
working my way from the back to the front, the forums have been very helpful!
Thanks!
Mike

Make sure you got the paper work for it, if you need it in MD. Does it run? Can you ride it now?

You Noo-bees and Sea-bees are lucky! The Admin is across the water from you. What's the term? Easy-Peasy?
csg039...tell your scooter donor friend "too bad". You will get good help here, and have a fun ride!. If he cries, send him to my nephew in Coronado, who is the Supply Master Chief.
