Hi everyone. My name is Tom and I'm new. Lol. I have a 2007 Kymco Agility "50". It's my daily and I ride it 70 miles a day. It's a work in progress. Current mod/upgrade list
Adjustable timing Yellow CDI 5g rollers StG 50mm bbk with Airsal Hi Comp piston using a locally sourced 19mm Intake port stock valve bbk head A9 cam Real Keihin 20mm carb 49/17 final drive Custom built by me 1" i.d. header/exhaust with a modified Cherry Bomb glasspack
In current format ( I'm still in the first 300 miles with the bbk) I've hit 52 mph on GPS.

from MD's Eastern Shore! 70 miles per day is a serious workout for a 50... or a "50". Are you riding it that much to and from work and errands or are you using it for work, like deliveries?

Quite a haul on a scoot regularly. Kymco's are good machines, but I'd be concerned that it won't last all that long doing that... especially heavily modified. If possible, I would suggest looking into your motorcycle license to prepare for the future. A little larger scoot would probably serve you very well. Something like a quality ~150, like a Yamaha SMAX, or maybe a Suzuki Burgman 200, or even a little larger depending what's out there when it's time. Not a GY6 150 though. Our local craigslist has some decent deals on maxi scoots from time to time. I ride my 2T 70 miles each way to OC at times, but if I were going to do it regularly it sure is much less stressful on my TMAX 500. The quality big scoots are not only more reliable in general, but the service intervals are much longer and if you want to ride up the highway to any other beach towns or head to Salisbury or Dover, they're plenty capable of that if you get something 250cc or so. I have been on Rt 13 with my two-stroke and with my old 150 and it's doable, but not what I'd call pleasant... and not legal for 50s, at least not to ride with traffic.

I'm planning on getting my mc licence. And if I'm honest, I've been toying with the idea of 150 swapping the Kym, but so far so good, I bought it this year with 11,892km reading and currently at 15,470km. I put the kit in at 14930
