i need help figuring out if i should buy a polini sport or corsa for my keeway matrix 140qmb? i know the only difference is the exhaust port and piston. but is it a night and day difference? i'm looking for reliable power as i ride to work daily about 4 miles/day. i would like to reach a top speed of 55-60mph and have really good torque. any info would be great. also will the corsa work with a leo vince zxr? and i am going to buy supporting mods depending on which bore i go with. thanks

The Corsa should make more power out of the box. The Sport is said to have more potential if you want to port it. The Corsa seems to be basically a sport kit with the ports roughly 1mm higher so it has longer durations, friendlier to higher revs. The sport kit makes more power at low revs and the corsa should make more peak power at higher revs, but wouldn't have as much power as the sport at lower engine speeds. I'd pick the sport and do a little port work if I wasn't pleased with it. If you don't want to port it, the corsa would be a better choice because you might need to get the revs up to see 55-60MPH. It depends what your final drive gears are.

I was trying to find what the ZX-R is intended for, but can't seem to find it right now. I know the Polini sport kit should make peak power somewhere around 9,500-10,000RPM, which would match it up pretty well with a Leo Vince ZX. The Corsa should be good for 10-11,000RPM. Not sure where the ZX-R makes it's peak. You want to try and match up a pipe and cylinder intended for the same powerband to get more out of the combo. If you plan to port the Sport, you may even want something more aggressive than the ZX.

S6 stuff's real good for the price, I can attest to that. The dyno doesn't lie (I certainly wouldn't put Andy as the type to fiddle the results).

Probably round Malossi/Polini sport territory.

Alright that just answered some Q's I had. I now know that I want the stage6 sport pro to replace my malossi kit. I will get the lv zx but the only Q i have now is will I have to put in up gears to make the best use of it or will it just be a wheelie machine. And the next one is it going to still be a reliable daily driver as it is now. And will my sstock crank in my Derbi handle it all as I don't want to replace it. Or would I be better to just keep my malossi sport kit and put the zx on it until the malossi needs to be replaced?

on the zumas they run the stage 6 or athena sport with the zx without any issues with the yamaha crank and some run gears and some dont the ones who dont just dont go as fast
personaly i would get the zx and try it on the malossi kit for now and then get the other kit later
