Factory farming,,the worst,,I'm from a small dairy community ,,small er family farms,,lots of Amish ,,,I'm actually a product of dairy stock myself,,,from my fathers side of the family,,,the McWilliams dairy is large at 300 or so head,,,they treat their cows like family,,almost like pets

It’s not the business but the employees causing the abuse. What the CEO doesn’t know they can’t fix. Repair is from the bottom up. It’s horrible that it happens but I’m sure from the small dairy farm to the mainstream corporation it happens, it just depends on who got it on camera.

Hadn't heard of it. I searched and the first stuff to come up was about Burger King passing off beef burgers as impossible burgers.

I love burgers and steaks and chicken... and I love animals. I wish I were cool enough to quit eating them, but they taste so good. I hope meat substitutes that actually taste like meat do become mainstream. Maybe we could eat more deer though.

Haha yeah, areas close and around Syracuse have a serious deer problem, I would love it if we could eat them. They are complete pests at my house, nothing better than filthy rats in my book. They eat everything, you can't grow a damn thing. They carry ticks and I'm just waiting to get lyme disease. I got a 440 fps 17-shot BB gun to shoot their asses whenever I see them. But luckily they haven't got a taste for hops yet, if you've seen my "green thumb" thread. The city has had a couple hearings regarding culling or other means to "dispose" of them. And hell, they're practically tame. You can't chase them away. The only thing good about that aspect of it is they don't tend to up and jump out in front of you when you're on the road. But I have had a couple of close calls.

Get an 'adult' air rifle. easy 1000FPS with a 22. More expensive ones around up to 38 and over 1100FPS. Use a scope and train for extreme accuracy. Probably illegal.

Yeah I know, I'm not even so sure it's legal to be plinking BBs on account of my neighbors' houses are fairly close.

Sometimes I’ll wake up and I have a dozen deer in my backyard. They used to be in the front too. You can’t bag them like that, even in Texas, but they are pests.
