Hey 49ccscoot fam. My name's Reiss, and I've been in the San Diego ruckus scene for quite some time now. If you've made it to a Ride Around the Blok you may have seen me picking up the lost or slower riders, or you may have seen me on YouTube putting scooters and cars together and never finishing them.
I used to do a lot of work on other people cars and scooters but have since been focusing more on my own projects.
Currently I don't have any running scooters but I have a Chinese minarelli that I'm rebuilding to a 70cc, a Yamaha Jog that I'll be big boring and swapping onto a ruckus, a few ruckus frames (one of which will be getting my 171cc B case gy6), and I have my grom that I was big boring but lost interest and will be 300 swapping once I finish 2 other scooters and my mini truck. I'll get some pics posted later tonight of my junk yard of projects and hopefully I can learn some tips and tricks here as well as pass some of mine along.

Idk if I should make individual build threads for each my builds or just make one big Reiss's Projects threads. Haha I think when I finish one thing I'll just compile a whole start to finish build thread separate from my project thread lol.

Is that a blower? What are you putting it on? I built a bored and stroked gy6 to like a 206cc I think. I even machined the case myself and custom taped the A case to tune an external oil cooler. Well long story short, they sent me a timing chain that was 2 two links too short and I didnt notice until I couldn't get the tensioner on. Seeing that the timing chain is literally the first thing you put on when building a gy6 I lost complete interest... BUT the new SYM motors come in a 176cc fuel injected gy6'ish motor. So I'm looking up how to tune, or if you can, the ecus and then I'll try to use one of those. Its low on my list of projects though. |

UPDATE! So after getting another jug kit, a stock cdi, a new carb, and probably everything else possible for my yellow skeleton minarelli, it wouldnt start. I tried for 2 weeks...nothing. My buddy come over, kicks it twice...fires right up. My excitement surpassed my anger but now IT RUNS! Have to do more heat soaking and then I'll see hows she really runs.  |

Also my buddy was interested in my Grom and seeing as it was low on my list of priorities I traded him for his Yamaha Jog. And yes, that's fur.  |

Then lastly I kept seeing this thing on offer up for months and finally pulled the trigger. A Honda Spree that already has an AF16 swap. And yes I already order parts for it before getting it home.  |
