Just curious, wondered if these wires were from a removed alarm system that wasn't shorted properly.

Alarm systems have long of rap sheet of problems they cause. But this time it's not directly to blame. Up front the bike was wired six ways to Sunday and the alarm could have been part of why the wiring was rigged up like it was. You see, the left brake switch didn't work because the hot wire running to it was going to ground and turning much needed power into head throughout the wiring harness.

Congrats on finding the culprit. Wireing can be a nightmare even without trying to figure out someone elses cobble work. :thumb:
