Hate to be that member who is absent for a while only to return asking for help.
I have a Lance Cabo 125 with 79 miles. Hasn’t been ridden in a few months. Ran great when cool out but won’t start in 90 degree heat. If it does catch it sputters almost like flooding out. I suspect the enricher is stuck. Is there a way to test it?

Now I’m thinking it’s the low speed jet. Likely clogged from ethanol gas sitting in the carb. May have to install a petcock to shut the fuel off.

Before condemning the enricher, I'd check that the float valve is working properly. The needle can get stuck into the bore, and prevent fuel flow, or the opposite, allow too much. You may have gunk in the bottom of the float bowl which would/could plug the main jet. Did you remove both jets and check that they are open? Many times the pilot jet will get plugged. The orifice is smaller than a sewing pin. I use one strand on a wire brush to poke through when they are plugged. It's small enough to not widen the jet diameter, and small enough to fit through, and stiff enough to not bend when some pressure is applied. Make sure you can blow through the pilot jet. It will not flow much, but should flow some. Of course, clean out the emulsion tube openings, and pop the main jet emulsion tube out to check. It's the bit of brass you can see through the carb inlet with the needle stuck through it. Push down with a screwdriver or tool and it will fall out the bottom with the main jet removed. When clean, just put it in place, and the main jet will hold it properly. You do have to remove the main jet to allow the emulsion tube to be removed. tom

Pilot jet was completely clogged. This OEM carb was non-serviceable so I simply ordered a new carb. I’ll make the old one a project for another weekend.
