I'm looking at installing a aftermarket exhaust on this scooter and was wondering what everyone would suggest. I might be putting a 70cc kit sometime down the road as well.
Thanks

A lot of good pipes out there. There is a great dyno chart somewhere on here somewhere. Be prepared to do some variator and clutch mods when you add the pipe. It means way more power, but the power moves way up the RPM, so weights, contra spring and weights/sliders will make a massive improvement.😉

Any idea what variator and clutch mods I would need. I can tune a cycle but am new to the whole scooter scene.
Thanks

I'm back working on this scooter again and was wondering if anyone has any insight as to what I can do to make it perform better? Better hole shot/top end!
Thanks

Did you get an exhsust? Usual first mods are exhaust, clutch springs and better variator. The clutch springs allow you to pull off right in the power band. A variator will give better control of the revs, and add a few MPH to top speed.

Step 1 Kit It No replacement for displacement Put a cast iron big block kit malossi ,polini ,naraku on it and you will be very happy. You will have extra power top to bottom and if you want to wheelie wind it up and yank on the handle bars. This will put you in the mid to upper 40's top speed Be prepared to rejet the carb you probably can get by with just richening the needle by lower the clip on the carb needle
Step 2 Pipe It Raise rpm range and top speed with a expansion pipe You will have to reset your cvt with some lighter weights a gram to a gram and half less than now so you spin up and stay in the powerband when you hit the throttle. Medium or hard clutch springs so you launch in the power band Rejet the carb Get some mikuni jets 11/22 stock is 80 get a couple say in the range 84,86,88 one of those 3 will keep you in safe range . You alos probably need to richen up the needle.
Step 3 Gear ratio and shifting. Get a aftermarket Sport Variator buy some weights in the 5 to 6 gram range . If you buy a more extreme pipe than you will need a notch lighter weights .
This will put you over 50 mph and make you smile when you get the parts working together. I just spent about 400-600 bucks of your money Ive built up a couple of these to 50 mph Beamer Screamer

I hear stock those matrix beamer 111's are restricted to 37mph. Not sure about the 111's but the PN2's were smashed at 34-36.

Cutting that green wire on the back of the beamer cdi does let it rev past 8000 rpms .
It is in the beamer service manual supplements So the info is provided by the manufacturer
Here is the service manual link get2itparts.com/etontech/SM_PN2.pdf
Page 61 references the cdi fix

What can we do to raise up the max speed on a beamer 2. I checked mine and there is no green wires on the back of the cdi.
