I have a Sinnis Eagle 125cc. All started with the baffle in the muffler going so everything I used the bike, I could hear all the crap inside bouncing around. The downpipe & muffler are welded together, all one piece so no way of getting in there without cutting it open. I figured it's time for a new exhaust. I took the old one off to look for the brand/some sort of identification. Didn't find anything but there started reading about chinese engines, GY6 etc.. so mine is a 152QMI-A.
Put the exhaust back on, went to work perfectly, the following day I did the same and as I'm going up the road it's non-stop sputtering like mad. Power, no power, power, no power. Turned around, went home and walked to work.
I'm just this morning taken the carb off, gave it a clean out, made sure the jets were cleared and put it all back on but the same thing is still happening. I'm out of my element and have no idea what I should be looking for or doing next. I posted elsewhere about this problem and asked if there could be a link between me removing the exhaust and it starting to play up 24 hours later but they didn't seem to think so.
Hoping some of your more experienced members can point me in the right direction.
Cheers
Update: Was just playing round with the idle/mixture ratio, it's sounds great and no problems when accelerating. Took it out on the road and the problem was still there.

Is spark plug cap secure? Well that's embarrassing. Saw the video you posted, went and leaned over my bike and look down and see the spark plug half hanging out. Spent half the day cleaning the carb, engine & gear oil change, replacing the shock bushings and not once did I notice it was like that. Can't take the bike out now as its pouring down but tomorrow I will Cheers

All of us have been there. It is a form of 'tool blindness', kind of like looking for the 12mm wrench all over the shop, not realizing it is in your hand...
