Hey there, newcomer here, never had a scooter before, only bikes ranging from 250 to 650cc.
Last week I paid a reservation on a 1999 Honda Giorno 50 (2t). Can't wait to get my hands on it so I can start tear it apart and customise it on my own taste.
I'm trying to find a repair manual / maintenance manual but no success. As far as I know, the Giorno code is AF24.
Any of you folks have a service manual for this model? Or do you know if this engine was used also on other scooters?
Regards, Alex

It looks like a Honda Metropolitan pre US introduction. Nice scoot, there are some Met Ruckus guys that will chime in soon.

Thank you for the warm welcome! This is a 2 stroke engine, never had one before...well...except maybe chainsaws.
Being my first scooter, I need to learn about how a variator works (i know the theory behind it but It would be a first on practice)...can't wait to take it on a ride.

Welcome to the forum goodkat. Little two stroke scooters are a blast. I had many big capacity motorcycles before getting a scooter. These little things can still put a big smile on your face.

Thank you, aeroxbud. Still having a hard time on finding a repair manual for the AF24 engine. I am already thinking on how to mod this small Honda. First I would try to adapt some nicer alloy wheels, front disc brake and a different front suspension (the standard one is some sort of girder suspension) want to adapt a full front end from any scoot that might fit. I'm going to have a shitload of questions to you folks.

Put some pictures up. We have an other vehicles section. Lots of us have modified bikes, and cars.
