Won't be long before you have them all on the road. Wow!

And so it goes. I decided to adjust the choke because it wasn't opening all the way and broke the barely attached seat off. I have an idea of how to attache it bore solidly that I'll try tomorrow but until then it sits.

Having read back I just realized that 5 months ago I said I would get to the seat tomorrow. Today was tomorrow. I need to get a loaner for my friends daughter to learn on and the Pink Scoot is the one that I really don't care about. I got it started with a little starter fluid and it runs really nice. I topped off the gas tank with fresh premix. I did get the seat fixed: I spent to much time trying to figure out how to fix it. I was in the hardware store and thought why not a door hinge. So there it is all working okay. The only problem is the seat won't stay open. Time to come up with a prop. It will probably just be a stick in the seat bucket.

Thanks for the idea, I'll measure and get one on order. Hmmm maybe make it hydraulic so when I turn the key to open it activates the pump and raises the seat for me. When down no need for a lock no one could possibly lift it.

I got a battery for the tach and went to do a real tune on this. The idle screw is either 1600rpm or 2100 rpm I need to play a bit. the starting is not what ai want it to be, I need to play with the enricher, I don't think its opening enough when I use the lever. I did find its maxing at 7000rpm and its probably the weights, I never really tuned the CVT. The speed and acceleration is good for a loaner to a beginner. I'll play some more this week and get it tuned in. It may be the slide needs to change. I'm not sure what's in it. Once it starts it runs fine and has a smooth acceleration all the way to WOT.

Well I have run out of room in the garage and something needs to go. Though the Pink Scoot is fun I am too attached to the Italian scooters. So its up for sale on CL winstonsalem.craigslist.org/mcy/d/winston-salem-vino-clone-stroke-for-sale/7352559146.html . To keep it in the family I will let it go to a 49ccscoot member for $300 and might negotiate delivery if you live someplace interesting. I am listing in for sale here so go there and see picks. Edit: And it sold that fast. for $200
