Sweet bikes. Very fun indeed.
You had better hunting in Japan than I did. Osaka is barren unless you have a Ruckus or a Monkey/Ape.

I bought a malossi full circle crank about 1 year ago. I finally decided to split my spare motor and install it, match the case to the corsa base gasket amd install a fresh corsa. Everything went well until I noticed the driveface splines didnt match up to the crank... there was alot of play between the driveface and crank splines. I checked the same drive face with couple old cranks all were tight. I started the motor up anyway and the belt was making a horrible sounds and smelled bad too. Ran around like that for a couple days and decided to pull out the new malossi crank... pretty pissed wasted $200-300 on a defective crank. Ordered a PG crank, new oem bearings and seals. Installing a new crank again.... checked the driveface splines on the crank before installing. It was nice and tight. Started the bike up, no strange sounds or smells. Just gotta break in an tune.

And on an Itialian crank too... but that malossi picked up speed way better then the stock crank and a little better then the PG. I may gamble $ on another one later.

Ya think they may have a matching drive face for their weird spline cuts?I find it hard to believe that CNC machined parts would pass QC if done wrong...

2 different Honda malossi cranks. You ordered the small spline one most likely.

Got this bike back together, running an AF18e motor, Corsa cylinder kit still on OEM crank. Found a NOS JDM burial pipe for it too.
