Hi all, Just joined. I am a long time rider, former motorcycle racer, dirt rider etc etc. I recently bought an 05 Zuma 50, not running. So far I've checked it out and it has good compression, most parts are there etc. I'll be popping on this forum for advice/ laughs etc.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I am looking forward to digging into this little beast. I was a KTM/Triumph/ Ducati tech for some years, this is a pretty different thing. I've already found a race type pipe on ebay for the Zuma. I guess I'm already shopping for the Lil Fellah. I'm also helping a friend get her 1987 CH150 running. Replacing a screwed up Chinese carb with a, hopefully, less screwed up New Chinese carb. Her scooter is fun to work on since the previous owner took off ALL the bodywork. We call it the Zombie Apocalypse Scooter.

Bugeye Zuma is a great bike. We have a shop bike here that we'll be doing a series of videos soon as we bring it up to snuff.
Word of advice though, small 2Ts are pipe sensitive just like 2T KTM bikes you most likely used to work on. Spend money on a good pipe and not on a no name part and you'll be much happier in the end.
