It's definitely sounds like an over range kit and the exhaust is were I need to start. I was looking at the overrange kits and noticed the have one with the aluminum drive pulley is that worth the band for the buck? I know it's less rotating weight.

Keep in mind, aluminum pulleys wear faster than steel. So the ying and yang is lighter rotating weight, faster response but you'll have less service life.

That is a good point. But when trying to pull the hole shot on 8 other quads that little bit could just be the ticket also. Because that exactly what I want it to do is wind up quick and be gone the longest straight away we have is like 200 feet and it's a drag race from corner to corner it really gets the blood pumping and I don't even ride it lol my son does.

For racing, by all means you want the lightest rotating mass. I would go aluminum on the pulleys for sure! Can't skimp out when it comes to tenth of seconds.

I’ve used them in the past and plan on getting another soon. What are you wondering about them?

Are they a decent upgrade over the stock ignition?

Of course if your looking for a performance gain. You get a timing curve and a slight charge from it. Enough to keep things going. Compared to the stock fixed ignition it’s a good choice.
