Does he want another one or do you want another one? It looks weird to me to see kids on them. I'm so used to seeing grown men ride these suckers. Here's me, another friend, and Bob. Bob bought a cateye and brought it up. I looked at it and said something like, "What the hell are you going to do with that?". I rode it then ended up picking my own up shortly after. I still have one. Mine got ruined when I let the other friend shown in the pic above use it and he somehow destroyed my whole frame swapping engines (same engine, shoulda been a bolt in job). Bob gave up on his and said I could have it or it was going in the dumpster. Now it looks like this. Mines got a broken hub from shifting too hard. I miss riding it, but I haven't fixed it since I keep getting kicked out of parking lots with these little things.

Thats an awfully big motor stuffed in there mister lol . I would love to get another one for Paxton(well mostly for him). It looks scaled perfect for him in that pic doesnt it? He liked it and rode it quite a bit until one day he dumped on the throttle real quick at a lower speed and did a wheelie by accident . After that he was kinda scared of it. He wouldnt admit it then (he was 6), but now ha tells me "yeah, that thing was fast and scared me. Im ready for it now though". Thats what makes me wish i woulda kept it . You can tell by the look on his face that he wants off in the pic . I made him sit on it for the pic, normally if he were riding he would be wearing a helmet . They are fun thats for sure! I am shopping for another so keep your cat eyes on for me will ya?

I looked for another new one a few years ago and all I could find were parts or used ones going for prices near what I paid new.
EDIT : I just looked again and it looks like the same situation.

I was thinking of selling mine with the 88cc 4 stroke for $200 if I could get it locally. I can't bring myself to do it though.

That's not bad. It just sucks when you realise how much it costs to get one like it again.

and to top off not being able to replace em cheap. It really sucks see the guy you sold it to just tear the piss out of it. That thing was kinda like working on a scooter but even cheaper. i bought a tuned pipe, clutch, and a few other odds and inns for around $100. They were even legal to ride on the street then. As long as you had turn, head, tail, brake lights and Paxtons did. I got pulled over going to work on it one day lol. Work was only a mile away and for some reason i cant remember my car wouldnt start so i took the mid-bike. A cop stopped me and said i couldnt ride it on the road. I told him i thought i could as long as it wasnt over 49cc,s, without shifting gears, and has all the lights. He said "its got all the legal lights"? I said "yep", then i showed him that they all worked, i even honked the horn. He laughed and told me he hadnt stopped a legal one yet and told me i should stay off busy roads or get a flag so people in trucks and high riding vehicles could see me. Needless to say i was a little late for work. I was a doorman at a bar at the time, so i road the mid-bike right into the bar. Everybody laughed, i told my boss what happened and he said it reminded him of an old Mr.Bean episode and laughed about it.

Bob and I got pulled over driving them down the road, but it really was illegal in MD. He just told us to go home. We got pulled over riding the 4 strokes as well and were threatened with tons of fines, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, drving without a motorcycle license, and I don't even remember what else. He said there had been a lot of complaints about us. There were 4 of us that would ride into the early morning hours Fri and Sat nights and they were all sorta loud. That's actaully when I quit riding on the street and bought a scooter so it was legal. Then Bob bought one a week or two late. He did some pretty lousy mechanic work and then sold his. I stuck with it, obviously.

Yeah, you got better. It was a shame to learn you sold that scooter so cheap over a $0.50 part though. If I had known the real situation I was going to buy it for my Dad then. I never realised that when you said you looked for the part you meant you spent 30 seconds searching. He sold it to a friend, then that friend fixed it and sold it after finding out it he wasn't really into scooters. I told him I'd give him $200 cash (his asking price) as soon as it was for sale. He said no problem, it'll be here tomorrow so don't worry about getting me the money tonight. He sold it to someone else before I could get there the next day. Bob had already added an 80cc kit, FMF muffler, and some other stuff. I just hate to see a good scooter slip away for that kind of money.
