There it is in all it's glory. And let me just say this, that b is FAST. The difference in power between the stock pipe and the Yasuni R is ASTONISHING. Hit close to 45 in roughly an 8th mile. I've upjeted to 90 and it seems to be spot on. It's quote chilly on the Eastern Shore today so I haven't rode real far from home. I do believe I've got a bit more CVT tuning to do but so far I'm all smiles and planning what's next to come

Got the next part of my build coming. Ported cylinder. Thanks Ryan. Now to decide to reuse the malossi piston I have with new rings, by another sport piston/rings or buy a single ring piston/ring. With 186/124 timing I'm thinking about going with a single ring but am open to any input from you more knowledgeable guys. And just for the record Becky will be daily driven and I'm aiming for over 60 mph top speed. So far im close

Got looking at pictures of other cylinders, ie polini corsa and sport along with malossi sport cylinders all have the same style intake/boost port as this China bore. So I may just leave well enough alone for now. Still want to upgrade the carb. As I feel the 14.5 I have is one of the limiting factors in my current setup. I feel that because currently im not able to rev past 9000 under load.

I measured the port roof distances on the ported cylinder I bought from Ryan. Measured out to 19.4mm exh, 30.5mm trans, and 31.79 on the boost. According to the calculator I have, figuring for .55mm deck clearance, this cylinder has roughly 198* exh and 129.5* trans duration😲 so possible 11k peak(maybe 10.5k because of the R). Although I wonder how long the stock original crank & bearings will last🤔😁
Also I have a naraku 360 intake and Polini CP21 carb on the way. I plan on modding my airbox to work with the CP by replacing the oe hose with a piece of a scrap radiator hose that is just laying around.

You’ve been up to 55mph on a stock carb this whole time? Nice!! Yep. Current "goal" is 70. But in reality I'd like to get 55 in the quarter.

Went ahead and got her set up for the midrace cylinder this morning. Went down to 4 grams in the vari from 4.5, also I deglazed the bell and put the strongest clutch springs I have. Getting 6500 engagement, and my accel rpms are 9300 or so. The carb and intake is on a UPS truck and headed my way.
I plan on getting the intake and carb installed and then put the ported cylinder on. I want to put my carb rear facing but not sure if it's gonna clear the subframe. My subframe has a "bump" in the center, so I think it may work. I'll get some pictures today

Just got everything here. The thought of a rear facing carb is out the window. Now to figure out what to do about an airbox.

Cylinder is on, gotta go to the bike shop in the morning and either get a new crimp on and shorten my throttle cable or get a shorter cable.
Specs on old cylinder 1.2mm deck clearance with .71mm base gasket 23.69mm exhaust =177 deg 29.16mm transfer= 143 deg. really
New cylinder at the same 1.2mm, kinda guessing. Actually using .55mm base gasket with this one 202.61 deg exh/134.15 deg transfer Wow, although if logic dictates anything,my deck clearance should be 1.05mm with the thinner gasket [same short height type cylinder] which would calculate to 201.76* exh/ 133.08* transfer. Boy oh boy, I'm gonna need another pipe I do believe.

Got everything back together and working. Still need to invest in a new throttle cable. But it works. Shoulda got pilot jets but hey. It is 5 turns out on the idle mix though.
